The Texas Poker Calendar is a schedule of upcoming No-Limit Hold'em tournaments in Texas with guaranteed prize pools of $100,000 or more, from Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and other Texas card rooms.

The calendar shows every starting flight on its own date, so you can see what's running on any given day. Tap an event for its full flight schedule, fee breakdown and sources, and add any flight to your phone's calendar.

We research each event from official venue websites, tour operators (WPT, RGPS, Trailblazer), PokerAtlas and PokerNews. Each event page lists its sources and when it was last checked. We verify guarantees, buy-ins, fee breakdowns, structures and flight schedules.

A guarantee marked (estimate) is based on earlier information, such as last year's guarantee, because the venue hasn't published full details for this year yet.

High value means the guarantee is large compared to the total buy-in (fee included). Events without a published guarantee or buy-in don't get this tag.

The fee is the part of the buy-in that doesn't go to the prize pool (house rake and tournament costs). We show it as a share of the buy-in. For example, an $800 buy-in with $700 to the prize pool has a $100 fee, which is 12.5%.

• Low fee: 12.5% or less
• High fee: 17% or more
• Fee not published: the venue hasn't published a prize pool breakdown

A lower fee means more of your buy-in goes to the prize pool.

It's roughly how many entries it takes for the prize pool to reach the guarantee, using the amount of each buy-in that goes to the prize pool. For example, a $1,000,000 guarantee with $700 per entry going to the prize pool needs about 1,429 entries.

If fewer people enter, the house makes up the difference (an overlay). If more enter, the prize pool grows past the guarantee.

When you add a flight to your calendar, the calendar file uses Central Time (America/Chicago), so your phone shows the right local time even if you're in another time zone.

Big tournaments often have several starting days, called flights (Flight 1A, Flight 1B and so on; events with more than 12 starting flights are numbered Flight 1, 2, 3…). You only need to play one. Each event page lists every flight with its date and start time. Flights that have already started are tucked under "Earlier flights."
